Vulva Interview: With Cherry Blossom

This is a reoccurring interview that the TFC blog conducts with random women. The idea is to show how varied and unique each woman's sexual experience can be. To protect the interviewee's privacy, she will be identified as her favorite flower.

TFC: How old are you?

CB: 28

TFC: When is the last time you looked at your vulva?

CB: Last month

TFC: What does it look like to you?

CB: A little bit of heaven

TFC: Age at first orgasm and how did you achieve it?

CB: Around 10 or 11 years old in the bathtub, under the running water. . . It was like discovering the wheel and fire at the same time. I quickly learned to love bath-time.

TFC: What does an orgasm feel like to you? Do you have a definition for orgasm?

CB: A volcano and a stress release. Also an addiction.

TFC: When was your most recent orgasm and what were the circumstances?

CB: Last night with a new friend, while he was penetrating me I was touching my clitoris. I find this to be the most effective way of coming.

TFC: Have you ever had trouble reaching orgasm? if so, how did it make you feel?

CB: I have never been able to reach orgasm with penetration alone. I've always felt this is unfortunate and maybe abnormal, since it means that I and/or my partner need to work harder at it. However, I have realized that there are other women with the same situation.

TFC: What did you do to overcome?

CB: I've discovered that I can come during penetration if somehow the clitoris is stimulated. For self-stimulation, I use a vibrator.

TFC: Have any nicknames for your vulva?

CB: "It" and "down there"

TFC: What is the best piece of sex advice you've ever received?

CB: Be conscious of what you want and don't be afraid to speak your mind.
